Polyglactin 910 is the material of choice across specialties for soft tissue approximation. Trusynth sutures provide wound support upto 28 days and gets absorbed by hydrolysis quicker than polyglycolic acid suture (within 60 – 70 days of implantation).

- Braided and coated polyglactin 910
- Coated with a mixture of polyglactin 370 co-polymer (30% Glycolide and 70% Lactide) and calcium stearate
- Available in Dyed (Violet) and Undyed variants
- Sterilized by ethylene oxide
- Shelf life of 5 years
